What is your educational background?

Alta Loma Elementary, Alta Loma Junior High, Alta Loma High.  Completed four years undergraduate work at University of California Riverside, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with honors.  Completed Optometry school at University of California Berkeley in 1993, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate of Optometry degree, with honors.  Currently certified to use and prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, and complete 25 hours of continuing education every year.

What made you decide to become an Optometrist?

I am fascinated with the human eye.  Really.
